Service – Inspection Checklist

Gold Seal Maintenance Agreement

  1. Spark plugs, ignition contact points, and condenser to be cleaned and adjusted or replaced as necessary. (Gas or Gasoline fueled only)
  2. Timing to be checked and set when necessary.
  3. Change oil and all oil filters one time per year.
  4. All fuel filters and sediment bowls to be cleaned , or replaced as required.
  5. Check entire equipment for fuel, oil, or coolant leaks.
  6. Check condition of batteries and report findings.
  7. Check air filter.
  8. Check coolant level and antifreeze protection.
  9. Check all hoses and belts for wear.
  10. Check automatic transfer switch for proper operation.
  11. Check all instruments for proper operation.
  12. Instruct proper personnel , if such personnel are available and present, on operating and upkeep procedures between regular calls by Curtis Engine & Equipment, Inc. personnel.
  13. Simulate engine safties for proper operation.
  14. After all of the above, run generator set and conduct test. (Under building load when pratical)
